L'incontro avviene il 6 luglio del 1957 al Woolton Parish Church Garden Fete di Liverpool.
Paul vede John suonare Be-Bop-A-Lula con la sua band, The Quarry Men Skiffle Group e decide di incontrarlo nel backstage alla fine della loro performance. Scoppia l'amore quando Paul riproduce Twenty Flight Rock, suonata al contrario dalla chitarra che John aveva in mano. Poco tempo dopo Paul si unirà alla band. I Fab Four stavano nascendo.

John Lennon met Paul McCartney on Saturday July 6th, 1957, at Woolton Parish Church Garden Fete, Liverpool. 

Paul sees John performing Be-Bop-A-Lula with his band, The Quarry Men Skiffle Group and decides to meet him in the backstage at the end of their performance. Bursts love when Paul makes a cover of Twenty Flight Rock, which he plays upside down on John's right-handed guitar. Shortly after Paul will join the band. The Fab Four were born.
